Wolf Shifter Ritual

Wear the purple clothing and stand outside between midnight and 1 AM. Light the incense and the blue candle. Place a bowl on a flat surface, and fill it with water, and another with milk, then a final, empty bowl is placed between them. Light aflame sage, parsley, and a single leaf, then place them in the bowl. Poppy seeds should not be burned, but instead scattered around the bowl. Hold the candle and say this spell:

"Spirits of wolves unborn and dead,
Come to me from earthen bed,
Shifters resting dead away,
I call thy spirits here to stay.
Come hither, come hither, o spirits, make haste!
Beasts cloaked with fur, paws swift to chase
Nose that seeks prey, a form light and strong
High-sitting ears and a tail lithe and long.
Wolf, wolf, the beast of night
With keen eyes glinting full of light
Into the forest, into the trees
Crossing the rivers and cresting the leas!
Wolf, wolf, come unto my breast
And enter my spirit, sheathed in my chest
The image of humans I cast away
To hunt and to run, and feast on my prey!
Come, o spirits, come!"

Welcome the spirits with great respect. Now take the water and hold it up so that the moonlight touches it. Say this chant:

"One wish I call from across the seas
And from the leaf of (tree that you got your leaf from) tree
This water, pure, sparkling and bright
I dedicate it on this night
My greatest wish to come to me
And blessed around all wolfkind be.
A shifter I shall be."

Now focus on your goal, on how different wolves are from humans, on how it will feel to be a wolf, on how you want to be a wolf. Do not imagine a painful change unless you want a painful change. Imagine having control if you want control. Imagine your wolf form from all sides. See every detail. As you do this, channel these thoughts into an orb in front of you. When you have clearly visualized this in your mind, project the orb of energy and thoughts into the water, pouring out this energy into the pure vessel. Dip the quartz crystal into the water and clearly state your intent. Now pick up the milk, sprinkle in some of the ashes (and seeds) and say:

"By the milk of Luperca blessed I be
Baptized by the fluid most holy
This milk, into it I call the energy
To awaken the wolf mother, by any name that she shall be
Wolf power fills me as I drink and savour
The eternal energy and sweet flavour
Everlasting power of the earth
In this liquid of divine rebirth!"

Now focus again on the same things, while including visions of divine energy. Project it directly into the bowl this time, filling the milk with your intent. Now say the above spell again and state your intent while dipping the quartz.

Finally, do the focus once more to awaken the energy in your soul. Make this one very prolonged. When you feel that you know exactly what will happen and you know it will work, drink the milk, focusing on absorbing every nutrient, focusing on the fact that you are receiving the milk of the wolf goddess. Feel the sinews of your body, every petal and fold, every fiber of your existence down to pure consciousness being penetrated by this energy, making you fully a wolf in spirit and facilitating transformation. Feel the primal instincts and urges taking root. Savour this milk, and finish every drop of this divine gift.

Now drink the water. Feel the purity, the clarity, and the overwhelming energy of water, the life-giving water that you have charged. Fill your mind with visions of beautiful places, like forests and cliffs. Shut out all human ideas, like cities of gold or ancient ruins or large town squares. Focus on nature and the purity of the water you are drinking. Focus on it and savour it, and the beauty of it. Feel the energy again, the power of your thoughts, of how much you want this. Leave a bit of water at the bottom.

While holding the crystal, say: "Spirits, thank you for witnessing my spell, and sending forth positive energies. You may be released, as I have received the gift. Relieve my doubts and sorrows." Now smudge the ashes onto your forehead using the quartz, and let loose with your best howl while extinguishing the candle flame with the water.
