Why specifically Friday?

Friday is the day representative of love, because of this, some people choose to add this association into their spellwork and undertake spells and rituals for love on a Friday.

is this really gonna work this seems odd?

do you say the persons whole name, (first, middle last) or just their first and last.

I'd suggest saying the persons full name to make sure it occurs to the correct person.

What if i made a mistake in the chant can i repeat it??

Of course. For chants, you should repeat it until you fall into a rhythm and get lost in the moment. If you stumble over your words, don't worry, just do it again. [I've done it plenty of times, never had an issue]

How long dose it take to work

This isn't even a real spell. Magic takes much more than kissing a picture and saying some words. Nor does magic work in a specific timeframe. But, if you want to try it, I'd say that if it does not work in a full moon cycle, it hasn't worked.
