You may burn incense made of herbs that symbolize finding lost things. For added emphasis, invoke St. Anthony into the spell.

For lost items I like to dowse with a pendulum. I will ask the pendulum to point out the general direction of the item, then a series of questions to try and pin point it. This has worked well for me in the past.
