However, you can make an oath or bind yourself to a deity, so with an edit, this could be plausible. As for capturing a spirit, say you bound it in an object, and you give Satan that spirit, while I feel it is cruel, it is possible. With all of this said, you do not need to sell your soul to Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, or any demon you choose to work with. You can give any number of offerings and make oaths/contracts with them, no soul required.
