If using stone, engrave it with any symbol of any element. After finishing the first step you need to put the rock in the respective element. (Ex: Fire symbol will mean you need to burn the rock.) When your done with the last step give the stone to anyone you wish to curse. As long as that person keeps the stone with them, that person (along with anyone who is near them if you use a normal [on-magical] stone) will be afflicted with harmful affects of that element. During this process make sure you have negative and hateful thoughts or it won't always work the way you want it to.
If using a leaf,you first need to draw a symbol of any poison on it, and burn the leaf. Pour the ashes of the leaf into any drink and let the person drink it. That person is now going to have the poison or disease. Make sure you are familiar with this poison/disease that you have chosen or the affects wont be reliable.
Please don't trick someone into drinking random leaves. Although the aim of this spell is baneful, you could physically poison them and be held criminally responsible for them becoming ill or dying.
As outlined, this does not work. You can take a stone, charge it with negative energy, draw a cursing symbol on it, and give it to someone. This specific outline does not work. You are not setting your intention or telling the spell what you want. Instead it relied mainly on the element, which can have a variety of uses. Water, for example, can be called on for its destructive qualities, but water cleanses. Fire can also cleanse. All the elements can. You should say a chant to be clear.
Regarding the leaf, you can use it similar to a cursed stone. You can charge any object with baneful energy and gift it to your target. However, as Draq said, you should not pick a random leaf to ingest. You can use poisonous plants in your baneful workings, but legally/morally speaking, you should not poison someone. Do not make a tea from a random leaf. You could make someone sick, possibly kill them. If they discover you gave them something with the intention to harm them, you will be in legal trouble.
