I find it hard to meditate without having my mind concentrating on anything. This technique is from one of Christopher Penczakss books.

~First obviously get into a comfortable position with your back as straight as is comfortable.

~Take a few deep breths (you can breathe however you want but some people believe in meditation one should breathe with their stomach.


~Visualise a black board or a television screen, this represents your mind Chris penczak calls it 'the screen of your mind'.

~Visualise a 13 on the screen and then a 12 with each descending number feel yourself going deeper and deeper withing once you get to 1 pause.


~now count down from 12 to 1 but don't visualise the numbers just know them ( count in your head)


~you will feel yourself at your deepest meditation level (if it works) from here you can do anything; chakra work, magick whatever you want.


~when your done count from 1 to twelve in your head and then visualise 1 to 13 on your 'mind screen.


~make sure you count up every time or you will feel wierd.



Just thought i'd share this as it has helped me a lot and if you want the book it's the inner temple of witchcraft. It is aimed at beginners but has some very usefule exercises I've been practicing magick for 6 years now but still this book has helped me a lot over the past few months.
