This seems like a pointless question to ask as I have little evidence to back the theory up, but can you be immune/resistant to psychic or metaphysical gifts? I assume it is possible to consciously shield yourself, but I'm referring to a unconscious act.

I know readings performed at a distance are highly unreliable but various readings performed on me utilizing different gifts over the years have always been inaccurate. I live in a rural area and have no experience with a proper in person reading of any kind as a comparison. The most recent example is someone claiming to be able to sense auras at a distance said their ability was blocked when attempting to sense my aura. I know many believe themselves to be more gifted than they are or make fictitious claims, but I still can't help wondering if it's possible to be naturally resistant to such abilities regardless of my personal experience. Has anyone seen credible evidence this is possible?
