I just did this one as my first ever practice of magik. It's a pet protection spell and heres what I did:

Ingredients:
Bay leaves,
Salt,
oregano,
cumin,
three candles.

Grab a handful of salt and put it where you will be practicing. Draw a pentagram with the salt. Place the three candles at the top of the pentagram, and put your cumin on top of the pentagram, the bay leaves at the left side of the pentagram and the oregano on the right. Your pet may be present with you but I left my pet in his room so that he wouldn't get scared and interfere. I then chanted this:

?Furry and mysterious
You have blessed my life
And my magickal practice
With your sweet spirit
And the essence of your soul.?


?Be blessed and welcome
Companion and helper
As you boost my power
By lending your strength
And your own deep magick.?

?May we live together
And practice together
For many years to come
And bring joy and strength
As we grow in our bond.?

?In perfect love and perfect trust
May we practice our magick
O blessed familiar.?
