Personal Bio
My name is Andrew; some know me as Eyngl (sounds just like Angel); some know me a Auriaeleous Xegolas Lorensei, with many nicknames associated Auri or Xage; and my Wiccan name is Stormdancer. I have recently been looking at two new names, as I haven't danced in a storm for a very long time and feel a bit like a fraud because of it. Sunflower, Moonriver, Meadowlark, Mountainstar are just some ideas I have thought about. As for my path I am currently on a quest to find my spirituality again. Frustratingly, I find myself "searching" every year. I've been reconnecting with The Craft, and more specifically MY Craft. Being a pretty simplistic type-of-guy, I've been looking into and researching the use of "mundane" or inexpensive substitutions for magickal tools and supplies for the purposes of working magick (please let me know if I'm using the correct spelling, as I am still learning). I'm 28 and have only been "knowledgeable" since I was about 14 when I first came into The Craft... so, about 14 years ago. I want to honor my ancestors, with the Druidic religions of the Celts. I want to honor Kansas (and the Kansas Native American Indians), the place where I've spent most of my life. I want to honor Washington state (and the Washington state Native American Indians), the place where I grew up the fastest and where my heart truly lies. I want to honor my familial Christian upbringing, for I do still believe in the Holy Triune God, because I have seen and felt things that I can only explain as the work of God, Saints, and Angels. So, for now I guess I'll go with Eclectic Christopaganism, with an emphasis on Shamanism and Druidism, Christianity, and Hearth/Kitchen/Cottage/Hedge Witchery. I am simply me. I am a source of love and light. And I seek nothing more than to have everyone I meet leave me knowing that they are truly loved and needed in this world. So, question time - Is there anything you wish you'd known when you first started, that you know now? Or is there anything you want to teach to someone who is new to The Craft? Oh! And Merry Meet to y'all in advance. Blessings of Love and Light and Luck to y'all as well.
