My name is Samantha, I'm 19 years old and am currently attending FTI for Cosmetology. I am a licensed Facial Specialist/Esthetician but am currently unemployed as an Esthetician and am working for kgb_ (Knowledge Generation Bureau, our commercials include the one with hamster milk and boobs compared to melons lol. The text and ask company!) and that is totally irrelevant to magick XD. I have been practicing for about 8 years total. I started studying and practicing Wicca when I was 11 and changed my belief system when I was 17 to High Magick and now I mostly follow the teachings of the Kabbalah, The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and Aleister Crowley. I do Tarot card reading using mainly the Major Arcana and Crowley's Thoth Tarot Deck, so don't hesitate to ask for a free reading. I won't bite. Magick aside, I'm still attending school for hair and mostly get on later because I get out of school around 10PM EST. I love video games and have been avidly playing Left 4 Dead and Killing Floor on Steam (Name: [D§♠] Glitch Flesh) The 'D§♠' stands for a gaming clan that I created on Steam called the "Digital §aints♠" We all follow a strict code of decency and advocate good team players and exceptional gaming skills.
I love animals and am a major animal rights activist although I still eat meat, hate PETA, and hate pork. I have a boyfriend of 4 years of whom I love very much. My familiar and household cat "Elmo" is the love of my life as well and also a pain in my butt XD. Magick wise, I do daily meditations, practice second sight exercises, Tarot contemplation, and the LBRP as a daily ritual along with various other rituals and spells that I feel the need to perform. I do not claim to be better than anyone else on this site and would like it you didn't either ;)
I believe we should all agree to disagree at time, especially when it comes to religion. I believe in God as "The Great Architect" or an intelligent force of energy that created the systems that we live in and that is who I mean when I say "God." I do not mean a omniscient old man with a flowing white beard who can smite people. Other than that, I love facebook apps, sleeping, reading, and listening to the funny things people say on this site. :)

-People who over exaggerate things. I see this a lot on this site from a lot of different people. If there's a knock on your door it has to be a spirit, or if you caught a cold it must be demonic possession. Really, guys. Magick isn't that cool. If you take these things too seriously, you're in for a rude awakening. I know Christians that can laugh at themselves every once in a while and not think it's a gift from God when they get a package in the mail. This isn't Harry Potter.
-People who think this IS like Harry Potter. I have yet to see someone levitate. I have yet to see Bloody Mary pop out of my mirror and slit my throat. I have yet to be possessed by a demon that controls my words and typing. I have yet to see someone actually control someone else's mind. I'm not going to say anything to you, I'm just going to laugh and thank God that I know what can performed in real life.
-I love how everyone can astral project. I love how if you have a hypnic jerk in your sleep that you have some special ability. Let me tell you, I have hypnic jerks all the time (where it's like you're falling and then you hit the ground and your body jerks upon awakening) I hear voices before I fall asleep, and I'm quite good at clearing my mind, but I CAN'T do it. A LOT OF HIGHLY SKILLED MAGICIANS, WICCANS, MAGE'S, WHATEVER cannot astral project. It's not a given. It's a skill that takes a lot of time and talent to refine.
-Stop telling me about how much "power" you, me, or Johnny down the street has. You aren't special. You aren't better than anyone else. We all know you're an elitist, so if you want, just continue to dig your grave. If you really have to brag to people about how much power you supposedly have and then ask how you can "use" it, that's just another way of saying "I really don't know what I'm talking about, but I want to impress everyone and make them think I'm cool." I'll respect you more if you admit your flaws.
-Don't pretend to be something you're not. Don't tell me how many years you've been practicing when I bring up my point in chat. It makes me pity your that you have to fall back on numbers to win an argument. Years of experience and spell crafting doesn't make you a good witch. If you don't have the confidence or the faith to back it up, you're lacking something you should have had in the first week. Check yourself before you play the Age Card or the Experience Card.
-Stop correcting everyone. Just stop. Everyone is going to be different. I'm not going to agree with you, you aren't going to agree with them, they aren't going to agree with me and so on. It doesn't mean that they, me, or you are wrong. Paganism itself has a broad range of beliefs (hence the reason I dropped Wicca) and everyone has read and experienced different things. For you to sit there and correct everything they say like you have read every book on this there is makes you sound like another elitist piece of crap.
