Could you feel the ball in your hands? Yes=you made one, No=you didn't

If you are not sure then you failed.

you can feel a temature change within the chi ball. So if you mixed it with psi an chi (I tend to this a lot) it will get colder this also happens with ki (So I may very well be useing ki)

Chi ball is the basic one. It feels warm. Psi ball is a ball with chi shell filled with the power of thought.
Ki balls are not so hard to make, just make a kung move and compress it.
