Hoodoo Bottle Spells

Bottle spells are used in many ways. Once completed, a bottle spell should be given ritual deployment or disposal in the appropriate manner. Depending on your intention, it can be buried under a doorstep, buried in a graveyard, thrown into a crossroads, have a hole punched in the cap before making it sink n water , or kept on the altar.

If the petition or prayer you made was performed for love, money, gambling luck, protection or religious reasons and you have an altar, then you should keep the spell bottle on your altar where it will continue to work for you. These spell bottles may be shaken when it is important to "wake them up" and get them reactivated.

If the bottle was fixed to drive someone or something away, then dispose of the bottle at a crossroads, in running water, under the enemy's doorstep.

Bottles for breaking up a relationship, crossing an enemy , or crippling someone with pain are typically burried on their sides in the earth, where the victim may step on them and feel the effect or your jinx or curse as a reslut of foot-trick magick.

There really are no hard fast rules, but generally speaking, if the spell was to rid yourself of some person or condition, then you will want to ritually dispose ot the bottle.

Some ways to dispose of spell bottles:

burial in the earth in your backyard
burial under an enemys doorstep
deployment or disposal at a crossroads
burial in a graveyard
deployment in running water
disposal in fire
