Last week I asked for a reading from the astrologer advertised on this site, Jenna. I paid $60 dollars and all that I got was a cut and pasted text, with so much information repeated. I wrote an complained about the quality of the reading and have had no reply. I looked up this person on Google and I found that there were so many complaints about the work produced. This is a warning to all. Beware of rogues like this. investigate the authenticity of the person and get some really unbiased views on their work. I wish I had then I wouldn't be $60 worse off. I intend to tell as many people as possible about my experience inlcuding putting something on youtube. You should have realised Jenna that I don't like being duped - you read my stars!
....lol.
You shouldn't trust *anyone* asking for money in exchange for a reading. I'd estimate about 90% of the people doing that, or at least 50%, are people just looking for a quick buck who probably know next to nothing about what they claim to do. Besides, you can find very good people here on this site who are willing to do it for free. Perhaps you'll have to exchange some information; you teach them and they teach you, but otherwise it doesn't cost money.
Lol at you...
Either do it in person, if you're going to pay.. that way you can punch em in the face if you know they're scamming you ;)
There are people on this site who will do it for free. Why pay? =D? Though our readings may be slightly inaccurate, we consider it practice ;)
Thanks for the good thoughts and the advice. I'm a much wiser bunny now, just a bit more broke. My own fault, too trusting. I just wanted to warn others, so please spread the word. The person who did the reading actually advertises on this site ( see horoscopes section). So don't forget the name JENNA and avoid this person at all costs.
i disagree rag, if you have a skill, and others want to get something for themselves by using you and your skill, you should be able to obtain money.
but he's right 97% (my own estimate) of people asking for money are frauds.
ohhh, and I dont think people should cast spells for others, it just leads to laziness, if you want something done, take the time to learn it yourself, ohhh and you ALWAYS have time, theres never a good enough excuse short of someone dying.
I said for a reading, Luz. I know that experienced and skilled people should be able to make money off their talents, I believe that is probably how most businesses are(and have been) formed, but if you can legally send copy and pasted information to a person and get $60 for it then how many people(considering today's society) wouldn't pass up the opportunity for an easy buck? I wouldn't trust anyone offering that deal because I can't tell the fakes and frauds from the skilled and experienced.
There should always be an exchange in energy - if you give energy out you should get something in return. I give readings to my frineds but ask that they bring a packet of biscuits or something like that. But I do charge for professional readings - they last for an hour and a half and I put a lot of energy into them.
Honey15: I have dabbled with a few of these people and I can say with out reservation that they are in the field to make money from their clients. I can cast the runes, read the tarot, and work the pendulum myself and get better answers. The biggest thing we must strive to achieve on this journey called life, is to trust oneself, learn as much as you can, and remember the source of all is the divine. try a pendulum for yes/no questions.A clockwise swing is a yes, a counter-clockwise swing is no.
Blessings and providence:
