Meeting crystal spirits

I would like to share with you a medition technique I learned from out of a book I have "The Essential crystal Handbook" by Simon and sue Lilly.

I really enjoy doing this medition with crystals, it's very insightful when I have the time to take my time with it, Although when you read the bit about imagining the mouth of cave, my experience of that happened a bit differently, as I always seem to end up seeing a waterfall in front of the cave then have to walk through the water first, So its easily adapted to be the right medition for you and doesn't have to be strictly followed.

Hold the crystal you wish to explore in your hands or place it upon the charka that corresponds to the colour of the crystal.

Imagine the mouth of a cave in front of you. Take time to build the image clearly.

Picture yourself tentatively moving foward into the dim light of the cave. Move slowly, exploring your impressions.

Move further foward and see in front of you a downward-leading path going deeper into the earth.

Follow the path. You will eventually arrive at a closed doorway.

Imagine a picture of the crystal or its name on the door. Focus on your intention to meet the crystal spirit and wait for the door to open.

When the door opens, step through and gather your impression of the stones nature.

When it's time to return say "thank you" and will yourself back to the doorway.

Walk through the door and close it behind you. Make you way back up the path and out of the cave.

Take time to consider and record your experinences before resuming everyday activities.

I done this medition with a clear quartz pyramid crystal, normally I sometimes find it hard visualize a clear picture with meditions and most are somewhat hazy at times, but with this medition it's the first time everything became very clear for me, when I went through the door I was was in a room full of crystals all shinning with white light and there was a figure of light shining just like the crystals in the room, I took the imformation the spirit crystal was giving me then thanked the spiirt and left them the room, not that I wanted to as I felt really peaceful there and could have stayed there for a lot longer but my impression was that that spirit wished that I should leave, I have only done this with clear quartz crystals, I havent havent the time to try with other types of crystal yet, but will once I have some time to really concentrate on it.
Was quite an uplifting magical experience :)

I've not treid such a meditation, but this seems like soemthing very much worth looking into. I'll try this and tell you of my own experience.

Hopefully Katinar you will have a good experinece with it :)..I haven't had enough peace and quiet latley to spend the time on another one yet.....and I must apologize for the amout of spelling mistakes I did in the first post..I really need to double check before I click add from now on Lol.

Ah, I enjoy meditating wstones and crystals. I remember one experience I had meditating with an egg shaped, clear quartz crystal. It was basically me gathering energy that day through my 7 chakras, then when was finished and returning to my body, I got pulled into this cave like place. I stood infront of a large white egg. I could hear a faint sound of water in the background. I remember walking to the egg and placing my hand on it. Then the egg crackedas if hatching, and it revealed a small white dragon. To this day I go back to visit this small dragon, I call her Neera. I have more experiences, this one was just the one that standsout the most to me.

It sounds like a great way to meditate I will sure try it.
I've only meditated just by relaxing & trying to get into a trance of blankness, it's very hard to do that because I "always" have something in my head & I can hardly stop from thinking. I like doing that type of meditation because I like to challenge myself to stop my mind from racing 180 miles per hr. lol

I love crystals so I will try it.

SPREAD THE LOVE!

Alright, I tried this way to meeting them, but I got pushed away from the cave entrance and my view got turned to a small brown cabin in the woods. So, instead I went to it and inside was a bright being... It was male by their voice and I could see silver looking horns on their head. I found this very interesting, they told me to stay and rest for awhile.

This was a very interesting thing to do, I will try the cave once again, only with a different stone.
