New to Everything

I’m very new to Wicca and everything, but I’ve studied it for a long time as part of school projects and for other reasons for the stories I’ve read. I like to learn about different beliefs and pathes in life. It’s the only thing that could really work to block out the somewhat harsh realities of Christianity, which all of my family is. I wanted to be a good Christian, but I found myself disbelieving in many parts of that faith. Especially when my grandmother told me something horrible. I couldn’t see it anymore.


But I looked to Wicca. I started reading more on it, portraying it in my writing. I found it to be beautiful, never judging or insincere. So here I am. I don’t exactly know where to begin aside from meditation and writing down my dreams as I search for the goddess, but I’m trying to start anew.

Nice to meet you all. It’d be great to make new friends here and all. For starters, I’m pretty shy but when you get to know me, I’m unbearably chatty. Mostly, meditation, astrology, and healing interests me since I feel this need to help others out mostly. Anyways, I’m a writer and a nursing assistant so far, hoping to eventually become a pediatrics nurse.
