Need help with spell

I have tried spell casting several times, but they didn't work.
This is what I usually do: Meditation, Grounding, and Visualization.

In addition to Meditation, Grounding, and Visualization, what else shall I do?

I would like to create my own wish spell.
What herbs/ingredients should I use?
