Crystal Reading

What is crystal reading?
Crystal reading, in my own words, is reading someone by a crystal. Basically, you think of the person/sitter, and you receive guidance from the crystal. You can use different crystals for different things. For example,if you're reading someone about love, any emotional topic, you may use rose quartz. Me personally, I use clear quartz, as it has access to the spiritual realms. It's also an all purpose stone.
How do you receive information?
By feelings, thoughts, emotions, or receiving images/visions. I don't know if someone who has not accessed their abilities can perform a crystal reading, but it's worth a shot.
Crystals can have spiritual entities/beings that can be attached to the crystal to help you use the crystal in your own way. I believe they can also give you guidance, along with using the crystal to access information.

Im not too familiar with crystal reading im afraied ive had some experince useing crystals but I have not tryed that yet. Hopefully Ill get to it thus fall.

I don't think it's too popular, like tarot lol.. It's effective, though.

I used to use a large flat piece of sliced labrodorite (cut like geodes are when worn in jewelry). I lost it during a move though, I was upset. I haven't found one again like it yet. I found it to be a great gemstone for scrying.

I'm sorry to hear that. I consider this a form of scrying, because you can clairvoyantly see images/visions.

But how would you acctually read a crystal? is there anything u need to do besides basicallly concentrate on the person and the crystal?

You read the crystal by reading the energy and the information. It's like coming to a crystal, asking information about the person, and the crystal telling you.. You need to be psychically open to the energy and information.

i have always liked crystals and i study them and not just for magical purposes but also just because i collect rocks/crystals yet i have never tried that befor... i think i miht give it a try thanks :)

I do reading with my little crystals, I keep in a small pouch 12 different crystals and adding questioners stone or crystal into the pouch,then spreading them on my altar,and according to the position of the crystals and cluster,I would tell the situation of the questioner....I use,Agat,rose quartz,amethyst,smoky quartz,tourmaline,onix,tiger eye,moon stone,ruby star,garnet,gedait,cat eye. All of them in small size and different shape

Crystal reading is the same as reading any other item (psychometry) except crystals absorb others energy better them most other substances. Using anything other than clear quartz can transmute the energy and therefore give you a inaccurate reading. Being one of my most used practices i thought i would share a bit lol :)
