won't work

My magic won't work, no spells that I've tried have worked, I meditate, I studied up on everything but nothing seems to work, please help.

how good do you focus on the spell?

It takes time and patience. Meditate with a purple candle which enhances psychic ability which could help your case.
But if you are inexperienced spells will not always work immediately. Be patient and believe in yourself.

I do beleive in myself, and I've tried a lot, and I can't burn any candles my parents don't know about magic. Please help anyone.

How have you been meditating? Sitting, lying down, moving (while taking up yoga or a martial art-- or just moving around normally, engrossed in daily life,)? With mantras, or breathing exercises, or chakra meditations? How often, for how long, and most importantly-- do you get to the state that you need to be in ? Because you can be "meditating" every day for several hours but if you don't get relaxed, always thinking "Okay, when can I be a magician? Now? Now ?" then you're not really meditating-- you're not really clearing your mind.

But does your mind get to the state it needs to be in: the absence of all thought, except for the vague impression that you exist?
