Hello guys, last night I attempted the sleep paralysis method to get into a lucid dream. I am just getting into lucid dreaming so don't call me dumb or anything because I am not sure as to if this has happened to anybody else.
Last night while trying to get into sleep paralysis my body parts starting tingling(starting to fall asleep)- is that normal for that to happen?
Then later on still trying, my eyes starting like blinking a massive amount and felt like it was twitching - is this normal?
Also the last part was my whole like face and body starting like doing some weird twitch - is this normal? And then I swallowed because I couldn't hold it anymore then everything stopped.
If I were to keep letting my body do the twitching would I have gone into sleep paralysis?
Am I completely doing everything wrong? Please let me know any help from lucid dreamers that do this method would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.
Your right you might have did it wrong but I will give you a tip: trying relaxing while listening to 6.8 Hz Lower Beta, it should help, it works for me.
( Go to YouTube an look it up this should help.)

If you're saying that your body parts started to 'fall asleep', that's exactly what defines and Characterizes the phenomenon Sleep Paralysis.
Sleep paralysis consists of a period of inability to perform voluntary movements either at sleep onset (called hypnogogic or predormital form) or upon awakening (called hypnopompic or postdormtal form).
It is not harmful, although most people report feeling very afraid because they do not know what is happening, and within minutes they gradually or abruptly are able to move again; the episode is often terminated by a sound or a touch on the body.
According to the definition of sleep paralysis, what you had is very relevant for the phenomenon.
As for the twitches...
It sounds like you are trying to achieve the state of lucid dreaming with a method which is not the safest and most comfortable for you. I would suggest you to try to achieve this state by performing another method and using another technique. You may find about this in the internet.
It also sounds like your chakras might be clogged / blocked and not balanced enough to achieve this state. Learn about chakra balancing and / or opening. Believe me that it will help you a lot with astral projection and lucid dreaming. Balanced and opened chakras are as important as a healthy astral body, they even efect its health !
