Vervain is considered "The Witch's Herb" to some.

It is used magickally for love, protection, purification, peace, money, youth, chastity, and sleep. It is known to empower magick, especially love spells. It is also recommended for dreams and dream quests. It can be used to empower, or consencrate any tool or magickal item. Protects from negativity and depression when used in house blessings.

Medicinally, it is good for digestion, migraines, if used as an ointment (vulnerary), Eczema, wounds, and neuralgia. It works as a tonic, diaphoretic, emetic, expectorant, vermifuge, nervine, and an emmenagogue.
