How to sense the fae.
A. What are Faeries?
This question has many Answers.
Many different opinions.
Even though Fae have been seen by people told in stories.
Many people still disbelieve in the fae.
Another Name The Fae Go by are the Fair Folk .
Those who usually do not believe in fae often deal with fae in which they play tricks.
The Fair Folk are very good to bring up reflections within ourselves.
Spirits, Angels, or Devils?
In some cultures Fair folk are seen as spirits of the dead.
This seems to include the Ancestors, spirits of the dead which return gifts of wisdom or of Warnings.
Their are tales of people taking on a Fairies Host and going through the hollow hills and out.
To some extent some people put faith that Angelus and Devils, are fairies. To me though this is untrue but others may disagree.
Proper Fae are none of these things ... They are the inhabitors of the Otherworld.. The Fair folk are one of nature and sometimes refer as Nature Spirits.
For a fae is connected to an element may it be of earth, fire, water or wind. And in some cutlures the fairies are seen as dieites,
FAIRIES DEMAND AND DESERVE RESPECT!

The Case of The Cottingley Faeries.
I suggest looking through a search engine before reading this. Just Copy and paste the Title of this lesson to gain your own opinion!
But onto the lesson for the rest of you who have Searched it or wish to continue to read it.
In 1917, Elsie Wright and her cousin Frances Griffiths claimed to have seen and encountered with fairies as their home in Cottingley.
There are many many tales of people claiming to see fae. But I thought I would bring The Cottingley a firies up since it is recent and is very Controversial.
In 1920s the writer Sir Aurther Conan Doyleo published an Article in The strand magazine. Concerning the photogra [phs of the fairies taklen by two girls.
Many people including respectable thinkers believe in Nature spirits.. But with out saying their is always scornful criticism from some Scpetics.
No one was able to prove anything.... until.... The cousins .. Now in their elderly state... Claimed that 4 out of 5 photographs were indeed fake.
Findhorn
So Anyone been or heard of Findhorn SCotland? This is the place most Modren known Fae come from and a large amount of people experience them at.
I suggest Reading To Hear the Angels Sing and Odyssey of Co-creation By Dorothy Maclean .
Back to the lesson..
The aurthor of the book's I mention visited Findhorn Bay.. Not very far from Moray Firth. Their is a tale about A Local laird had sold his soul to the Devil and due to that action the land was covered with gale-driven silt. The winter's became bitter and the winds were perpetual. However one of the farmers attempted to grow a farm,.
While Dorothy was meditating she began to recieve messages about harmonizing with the NAtural forces.. They said if Humans tried to harmonized and connect to the natural forces they would recieve help from higher spirits of the FAeries.
Dorthoy enjoyed eating peas and started out with talking with the pea spirits or the opea pod faeries.
while she did such she came in contact with them .. She later called them devas from Sanskrit which means shining ones.
LAter on she came into contact with others of the land and called them Landscape Angel's.
As this prgressed they notice the land began to flourished
And it was scientifically proven as such that teh soil had gain nutrien to grow fruits and veggies while before it could not bloom a weed.
Now Findhorn is a spiritual place people visit. Devas use Sounds and mantras to produce patterns.. And raise vibrations.
Fairy Lore in gernal.
Most of the lore you hear came from those who lived by the land and interactted with the fae. Not always but a good portion of it is true. The best way to gain the "Sight" is not to be in a dark room. No it is to be with nature.
That is where the otherworld is closes connection is nature.
Many faeries are of the land as the land is of the faeries. Most faeries are spoken to be of the western culture but faeries caome from all around the world. we shall speak of a few shortly Such as true Thomas .
True Thomas
Thomas the Rhymer's encounter with fairies is a classic.
His actual Name is thomas rymour of erceldoune and he was also known as True Thomas. he lived in 13th century in Scotland.
Their are two poems about him One called "Romance" which was done on the century he died in. Some say the poem may of been particular his on writting he created or did.
The second poem is the "Ballad" which is more fictional lore. Was written in 19th century.
It recalls Queen of Elf-Land falls in love with Thomas. It told of how he experienced her dark and cruel side as well as her magickal gentle self. The queen carried him all the way to the land of the fae.
After seven years she released him back to the land of the humans with the "Sight" and the tongue that could not lie. He later on became famous througfh out the world.
But his heart truely remained in the realm of faeries. Later on during a feast he arose and walked withe animals into teh forest never to be seen or heard again.
Those who meditate into the faerie land often find thomas and he lends mentorship to those who are truthful.
More accounts of Faeries
A scottish minister during 1644-1692.. I believe named Robert Kirk. He wrote a book called "The secret commonwealth of elves, Fawns and Faeries." The amn was clever he spoke of the faerie lovers, co-host/co-walkers, and many other faerie related ideals. That are often known by faerie magic users. But how did a Minister come to this information?
Later on he was found dead beside Faerie Knowe at Abeforlye. many locals believe the body was not real. That it was a faerie substitue or "stock". They have often said he was abducted by the faeries.
It is often spoked of Kirk's cousin saw him during a Night where he had came ot tell him he was a prisoner in The Land of the Fae.
Kirk said when his Posthumous child was christened that the cousin should through a dagger at his spriti to set him free. But the cousin lost his chance in doing such. he has yet to be freed.

In Gaelic call Owls Cailleach . The Cailleach is seen as a strong part of the aspect of The Crone. The Cailleach is seen as a guide to The Hollow Hills or Underworld.
Working with the Cailleach could help you see people for who they are and if they Deceive you. I have worked with the Cailleach they are friendly and rather silent. I have not worked much with them but when I do the world seems so clear and so small compared to how I usually feel. This is great to call upon the fae's. So Cailleach are possessed by Fae In This realm which we live. In some cultures A Familiar is seen as a Possessed Fae. Wether this is true or not is up to you decide. I have no opinion on this... Yet.

Green Man
Part One
From Some recent studies I have found that " The Green Man ," is very new that it may have been coined by Kathleen Basford in 1978. But this does not mean The Green Man is New but the opposite he is very Ancient. As Old as the first first ever existed on Terra . Terra is Latin for Earth.
I would not be surprised if you all have not seen at least One Picture of The Green Man . He is seen on doors with the face of a Man's head covered in Greenry mask. Ring a Bell.
As well there are images of The Green Man. That show his Face is made of Oak Leafs. Some Paintings show him with his mouth open and things growing from within his very own mouth.
His images are commonly in Europe but other accounts have been found in Russia as well as India. Just with him being this wide spread even in secret. That many do not know who or what he really is. He has existed in The History of Art for a good long while.
His Artwork maybe made of Mental, Wood, Stone, or Stained Glass.
So his images remain but who is he actually?
Is he even here anymore?
Did he have offsprings?
Lovers?
Is that even his True Image?
Well we will have to wait and see who is This Green Man.
