What are Wands?

Well I know, people should know what wands are, but let me tell you, I thought they would, but I was asked this question. "What are wands? Also what do they do in magick?"

Well so I thought I would explain on here for future and present people who don't know much about wands.

The Wand Making

Most people think a wand has to be made out of a special wood, this isn't so, wands can be made from any wood, but there are trees that have more spiritual meanings, like the "Old Oak". Most trees have a purpose and a way in magic(k) this means a meaning.

What are wands for?

Wands are what some people say, like training wheels, to help keep the energies focused..It also helps young people learn about the wands powers. Remember the wand is a extention of your arm, you should treat it as such, it's just powered by your energy.

Wands and Staffs?

The wands and the Staffs are quite similar, except the staff is to be more like a magical walking stick. It usually will have a diamond or something on it or in it. Wands on the other hand, are able to hide and bring out when needed.

Staffs sense they are bigger take a lot of energy to bless them and use them...but the crystal or what they use ampliphise the power.

No you can't be like Gandolph and stand on the bridge and say "You shall not pass" to a car and expect the bridge to collapse under a hit to the bridge from your staff, that will just make you either look very immature, or send you into a hospital.
