Astral Projection comes through meditation. It does not happen instantly. You must exercise your mind. Teach yourself to meditate without the aid of magick, crystals, gemstones or any other enhancement. If you perfect meditation without aid, when you use enhancements, you will be so much more powerful.

I believe in building a strong solid foundation. The first thing that you should do is learn effective meditation techniques without the help of any aids or enhancements. I have read the works of Silva and John Kabat-Zinn. I suggest that you obtain a copy of John Kabat-Zinn, like one of these Audio CD's is good if you have a hard time staying focused when reading.

The reason I recommend John Kabat-Zinn is for the fact that he has made science out of myth. He is a doctor of molecular biology. Here is a link to his Biography, http://www.webmd.com/jon-kabat-zinn.

Get a book/CD as I suggest. Tell me what copy you get. If I do not already have a copy, I will get it and read it as well.

Until you get a text book to study from, I will share a method that I use to clear my mind and body real fast. This is a good way to begin. It is an exercise that I use to focus and control my thoughts, which is very important in manifesting your reality. Your mind is a universe in itself. Learn to navigate your universe so that you can apply it to our universe we share together. We are all connected.

Get to a quiet place where you will not be disturbed for 10 - 20 minutes. To build a strong foundation, silence is essential. Put yourself in the most comfortable quiet position that you can. Sitting in a chair, sitting in lotus, or laying down on your back. I prefer lying on my back with a pillow to support my head neck and shoulders.

The goal here is to learn how to control your thoughts while relaxing your body. I have learned to feel every cell in my body as I go through this process.

Begin by breathing naturally for a few moments. As you are breathing naturally, feel its rhythm. View your breathing as a slow monotonous drum beat. Sync the rhythm of your heartbeat with your breathing. Naturally, continue to maintain this rhythm.

As thoughts enter your head, dismiss each one. Picture an electrical signal streaming the thoughts in one ear and right out the other. Allow no thought to stop in your head. Let them stream right through.

As you inhale your breath, starting at the crown of your head, imagine as the breath comes in, that a complete calmness is entering your body. As you exhale, imagine any negative energy leaving the crown of your head.

Each time that you inhale a breath, the calmness enters the crown of your head moving one inch further into you - positively charged energy entering your body. Each time you exhale, more negative energy exits the crown. One inch at a time, all the way to your toes. Vividly imagine this. No other thought must enter your mind.

When a complete calmness has come over your body, head to toe, all the negative energy is gone. Imagine as you exhale, your toes begin breathing positive energy in through them.

As you inhale, positive energy enters your crown and flows freely through your body all the way to your toes, and as you exhale, positive energy enters through your toes and flows through your body out your crown.

Continue to imagine this cycle of positive healing energy flowing through your body, electrifying you, charging you full of positive energy until every last drop of negative energy is gone.

Exercise this technique until you can complete the cycle without ever being distracted by one single outside thought. Complete calmness. Electrify your mind and body with positive energy.
