depression spell

my very close friend is feeling really down lately. he's sad and depressed but won't talk to me about because he's afraid of worrying me and making me sad. is there a spell or anything that I can use to help be more happy and positive? all I want to do is help him ^-^

Do you have his permission? Also Magick isn't needed right now, but it can help as long as he helps themselves. You need to help your friend by being there for him.

I don't have his permission yet..
I'm very worried about him.. he's been having suicidal thoughts a bit lately.. he says i'm the only one keep him here right now.. how can I be there for him? I'm not exactly sure what to say or do to help him

Then he needs to see a doctor. They can help, and while he goes there you can cast a spell for him to be happier. You need his permission though.
