Teaching?

So I have a group of friends that asked me to teach them to use magic and I really want to but I have never actually taught anything before and could use some advice.

Try teaching them what you know, or teach them basics of magic!

Yes! Try doing basics first so that your friends get an idea on how to do it, then try teaching them what you know or learned.

I don't really know where to start though....I started with the properties of color, chakras and crystals is that a good place for beginners or should I start with the 10 fold plan
