Invisible Writing

I don't know why but this site doesn't let me see what I'm writing as I write it. I have to write it on Notepad or Word and then copy and paste it on like I am now. I only get to see what I write after I post it. I would like to know the cause of this and how I can stop it because it's rather irritating.

You need to say what browser and operating system you are using. It may be out of date, or a glitch caused by an addon, so try using a different browser.

It doesn't happen all the time, it happens occasionally. It's on again, off again. Right now, I can write and see my words. I'm using Google Chrome.
