So, something that gets asked of me alot is "what is the difference between the different card choices that you offer?" Or especially "what is the difference between Oracle cards and tarot?" So to answer the questions here are some explanations and resources to help you learn about the various types of divination with cards.
Tarot is a set of divinatory cards that have a specific Deck structure. With all traditional and even most not tradition decks there will be exactly 78 cards broken up in to 2 portions, the major and minor arcana.the minor arcana is then broken up into 4 suits, and while these suits may change names based on the theme of the deck, they will each generally retain the usual traditional correspondences like elements, seasons, etc. Most decks will also have similar card meanings to other decks unless they are highly non traditional decks. Tarot can be used for anything from pathworking, to advice, to fortune telling.

Oracle cards are divinatory cards that typically have no set deck structure at all. I have seen decks that have 20 cards and decks that have 100 and all over in between. Each deck will have entirely different cards and different meanings than other Oracle decks, and while the books that come with them often give inspiration for the meanings it is more specifically left up to the reader to determine their meanings rather than traditional ones given. The cards usually have a name and a prompt, but not always. Oracle cards are more often based around self work and advice than fortune telling, but decks are different enough that some might be better for it.
Since all of the decks are different, I don't have any real resources on it
I-ching is a practice of divination that is based around tao practices and the Tao book of changes. It is a set of 64 hexagrams(a combination of 6 broken or in broken lines) each with a meaning found with in The book of changes. Traditionally the hexagrams are determined by tossing coins or sticks, but in modern times cards have also become available. The issues are often more advice heard or self work geared.
Lenormand cards are a subtype of Oracle cards made famous by Marie lenormand. These cards are specifically set up for fortune telling and are often read around how the cards correlate. The decks have 36 cards each with Set meanings. The cards will be different items or people, but each lenormand deck will have the same basic cards.
Cartomancy is simply divination with cards in itself but is typically used to describe using regular playing cards in place of fancier types of divination. Typically they are read in a much similar fashion to Tarot, but can also be read similarly to lenormand. Cartomancy can be used for all sorts of divinatory work.
There are many other forms of divination, but that is a good list explaining the ones I primarily work with. Specifically those that are card based. Also, if you are looking for a deck from any of these categories, check out
