Labels

I have a question. How can I understand how far I am from getting a label like "Beginner" or something else in my profile?
If the label is added, even if the member is innactive for one year or so, the label will still be there? What I mean with his question is, if someone earns, do they have to particilate in the same manner in order to have it?

Ranks are not automatically give, they are given by people that are "Knowledgeable" or "Adept", you don't know when they are given until you view your account profile and it says "Beginner", "Novice", "Knowledgeable", and or "Adept". As for participation, in order to gain a rank, you must have expressed knowledge in some form or way, either by participating in the forums or chat. You do not have to be active to keep it, there have been members that have been inactive for years and still maintain a rank on this site.

There is a really good thread on the ranking system in the General Info section of the public forums. I've added the web address for it below. Just copy and paste it into the browser bar and remove any spaces that appear. It should take you right to the page.

The information the first two gave to you is perfect, although you really shouldn't be too concerned about getting ranks on the website. Having a high rank isn't what its all about after all, don't stress over it they'll come along when they do. Just focus on your craft and youll do fine :)
