Cilantro (aka Corriander)

Gender: Masculine

Element: Fire

Planetary Association: Mars

Protection to gardeners, peace to the home, used in love and health spells and sachets coriander/cilantro is a very versatile herb.
The powdered seeds can be added to warm wine to make a lust potion (so it is said). The seeds can also promote peace between people, use in drinks or crushed in incense. The sprigs can often be used in healing while the nutty scent can make a beautiful incense when burned with This spice has a somewhat nutty scent when burned with: olibanum, cypress, sandalwood, and cinnamon for consecration or for prosperity spells.

At least in America, Cilantro (the greens) and Coriander (the ground seeds) are sold separately and taste different (the former is considered an herb while the latter is considered a spice, despite being a part of the same plant).

I'll have to use both and connect with them spiritually when I cook this month. My uncle used to use coriander in a lot of his cooking and I largely consider him a good cook.

Culantro has a history of being used in perfumes and disguising foul smells in ancient times.
