Im writing a book and i want to add elements of Wicca to it. What are some of the best ways to incorporate real magick in a book people will expect to be fake magic

By not making it sound fake, by discovering the truth behind the elements, elements go far beyond Wicca, it goes farther beyond any religion.

Be careful not to include too many truths. If magick ends up in the wrong hands it could have disastrous outcomes.

well it depends on your book really. real magick can take many forms, a character could be meditating or doing yoga for example. kitchen magick is a subtle but effective form many use [basically, you add ingredients for flavour but also magickal properties. some even have spoons blessed like a wand] heck, if they use energy, stirring tea could become a potion.

regarding casting any old spell, you need to cut out anything really 'cool' such as energy blasts, smoke/explosions, sparks from the wand. even fun results like levitation, invisibility and transformation aren't real magick.
