So tell me about your sun sign, your moon sign, your ascendant and all the rest of your natal chart! How well do you think that your signs fit you? What do you think about the elements they are said to represent? What about the glyphs and pictures used to represent the signs, do you like them? If you have a signifigant other do you see astrology playing any kind of role in your compatibility? When you think of the planets do you think they represent a certain set of deities to you? Tell me some of the astrology books you have read and link some of the horoscope sites you use. Which horoscope site have you found to be the most accurate? Oh, and what do you think of the horoscopes on SoM? Do you guys prefer the word, "ascendant" or "rising sign"?

Well for me my sun sign is Libra, my moon sign is Aries, and my rising sign is Aquarius. All of which I find ti be highly accurate. I'm actually very fond of the glyphs used for them. When it comes to planets representing deities I tend to think of the Greek/Roman ones. I highly agree with Aries being a fire sign and a masculine sign for obvious reasons. But Aquarius in Greek myth is based off Zeus's gay lover cup bearer. So I don't think Aquarius should be water because of the "Aqua" part but rather the myth of pouring libation. The "Aqua" part misleads people who are new in astrology into thinking it is a water sign. It's not weird to me because in the case of Eros wife Psyche that means soul and not the human psyche. So the definition of that word then is not what it is used as now.
Libra I can't really deny being airy since I tend to be the head in clouds Libra for sure. Another thing I disagree with is Libra being a masculine sign. Not just the ruled by Venus part but Libra and Virgo are based on Astraea in Greek myth which is yet two goddesses associated with the sign of Libra. Astrology from all of what I have read did originate in ancient Greece. There is the Chinese zodiac and I am sure other culture did star reading types of things. But I am refering to the kind we most commonly use is in large part based on the Greeks. But despite me not agreeing with the masculine or femenine or what element some of the signs shoudl be...I do still agree with them being fitting for me.
I do see heavy Libra aspects of myself as I get along very well with most people and take a very middlist approach on a lot of things. I do see me having a leaderish side I suppose which I never thought I had before like an Aries but it was one of those hidden aspects I had never acknowledged before. It was always there for the most part I just wasn't paying attention to how I always end up the guy in charge usually without trying to be. The Aquarius smarty pants type I can see too. I had never thought I was very smart before and I usually tend to be lacking in confidence to be honest. So when I say something smart enough to make people think or shock them it puts the widest grin on my face. " Did I do that?" It brings me such utter delight and joy.
So in reading and studying some basic aspects of my natal chart several times I have gained a new perspective. Things I didn't see before have been brought to light. Things I had never tried to embrace before I do now. On a religious note; I take Aries to remind me of Ares which Aries is ruled by Mars and a fire sign so it just makes me super happy. Libra was in the star alignment when Rome was conqured as it was thought to be a lucky day. The ones who did so were Romulus and his men, which Romulus is one of the twin sons of Mars.
For astrology websites I have used so many of them over the years and none of them particularly noteworthy. AstrologyAnswers.com is the one I use now which isn't bad at all. As for what I think of the horoscopes on here, they are much better than the old ones. I know Pet had commented asking members what they thought of the new ones when he changed them like a few months back. He asked only by gramatical standards but honestly I find them to be a bit more accurate as well. For books I have been reading, The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need by Joanna Martine Woolfolk. For rising versus ascendant I honestly mix it up and go back and forth to ascend or to rise are really the same thing. But I have known so many people to rightfully be confused. If they are the same thing why use different terms? It doesn't bother me since the both mean up sign basically lol.

The only things that I know of astrology right now is that I'm a Pisces. And that Mercury is in retrograde.

I'm a Leo, my moon is in Sagittarius & so is my ascending. I agree with almost every traits from the Leo sign. It's true I'm kind-hearted, honest & resisting. However i disagree on being an extrovert. I'm ambiverted, I'm both. I can have a good time and get past the " shy me " but i also keep my emotions to myself, and need time to re-charge. When it comes to emotions, i can express them and they tend to always be pure and big, problem is i rarely show what i really feel.
I am a kind of " out-law " haha, i love being free and enjoying life, hate to be caged.
I can not even believe my moon & ascending is in Sagittarius, i have 0 traits of that sign. I'd say I'm Aquarius, to be honest. I feel strong connections to the " common " traits in both Aquarius and Leo. Per example, Aquarius tend to keep their emotions to their selves and often seen has " heartless " however, when they show love, it's the purest love you will ever find ( everything has exceptions ), and i feel more of an Aquarius than Sagittarius. Which would actually make more sense since I'm more connected to the element Air & Fire than the rest, however i " feel " all of them strong.
I love, but really love the picture to represent the sign Leo, however i hate the Aquarius one haha.
As to planets, i never really studied or paid any attention to them besides Venus & Mars. I don't know, i just always felt attracted to them. I'm roman mythology they represent Love ( Venus ) and War ( Mars ) , if I'm not wrong.
I've never actually studied astrology, eventho i have a huge dusty encyclopedia of that matter. I rarely agree with an horoscope, most of them are wrong. I think " Rising Sign " has a ring to it, but I've always written " ascendant " so either way is fine.

Okay, so my Sun sign is Saggitarius and my Moon sign is Libra and my Ascending or Rising sign is also Libra. I have so much Libra in my chart it is hillarious.
As far as the Saggitarius side goes, I can be restless, cheerful, and friendly, and I am generally quite easygoing. But get on my bad side and I am firey.
As far as my Libra side goes, I do have a strong need for partnership and without it I feel quite incomplete. I have this strong drive for harmony, peace, and sharing. I do enjoy socializing, and revel in a good debate. I weigh most of my decisions that I don't make off the cuff very carefully. Once I make a decision though I tend to stick to it, even to the point of stubborness.
That is about all I really know and understand in my chart.
Not sure if I can post a link here to a site that does free Natal charts, can I?

sun sign: aries
moon sign: pisces
ascendant: pisces
I was always kind of "eh" about being an Aries, but when I found out about the rest of my natal chart it was so accurate I felt a little embarassed... all my weaknesses and strengths and fears were laid out for me and it makes so much sense!
