Faeries
By:
I am very interested in learning about and working with Faeries, but I'm not entirely sure where to start. I know a little bit of information, such as which kinds of Faeries are associated with the Elements, but that's about it.

Would anyone mind posting links to useful articles, or sharing information?
Thanks in advance!

Faeries are around the world. Called different things. Nymphs, dryiads and other common things are of that are faeries. Faeries live in almost any area. Faeries are not good nor evil. The Kellie are seen evil and you have hobo goblins and so forth. I suggest looking into Celtics myths they are filled with it. The fairy bible is also a good beginners book but is not 100% accurate.
I hope this helps

My main body of knowledge on the subject is the Celtic stories and beliefs of the fae. Seelie and Unseelie are the names of the Celtic courts of fae. One viewed as evil and mischievous, one as good and fairly helpful. One of my favorite fae is the Kelpie which is said to look like a horse and associated with water, it's victims are drawn to get on its back and when they do, the Kelpie drowns them.

If you are interested in the Celtic views of the fae I could put you together a reading list, mail me.

Wow FoxyPeacock that sounds like a great book, thank you for bringing that to my attention. Some other books to check out are The Field Guide To The Little People and A Witch's Guide To Faery Folk
