Oh dude...my teacher has like 4 snakes in his room...and once I saw him feed a snake with a live mouse...and it was so amazing sad at the same time I guess...

oh and my teacher has this really colorful snake..I don't know wat its called,though I can ask him...then that'll be a great recommendation..LOL..

Look for a garden snake if your front or back yard. =3 Those are really friendly, non-poisonous, and they hardly ever bite. ^^ You only got to put in some dirt and they can dig their own holes. =D

Nope...the teacher isn't asian but he has like pets from all over the world...LOl..and yes it was orange with a bit of pink in it...^^

you might want to consult your local pet store. You could give them info like what's your budget, your space for this pet, what size do you want it to be, etc etc. They'll figure something out (I hope).

What country you in? Best recommendations for snakes which are relatively low maintenance and non aggressive are as follows- corn snakes, milk snakes, rat snake, garter snakes,king snakes these are the most common you are most likely to find, boa's and pythons are brilliant creatures, but it takes more effort and i wouldn't recommend it as a first attempt. If you live in the states wait for spring and find some garter snakes, very mellow little creatures.
