Cursed

I feel like I'm cursed by somebody. I'm getting really forgetful, having WAY too many de ja vu, and my thoughts are coming true. One time I forgot to put on my seatbelt, and I was thinking about somebody and then they just came into the room. Any advice to stop this?

Nothing you have listed is any reason to believe you are cursed.

Even if someone has, the only reason it would be effective is if you let it be.

I am confused about one point: Why are you wearing a seatbelt in a room?

But really, if you believe you are cursed, you should cleanse, banish, and shield (or ward, or protect, however your belief or tradition suggests).

But again, it sounds more like just life events are happening. We all forget things. Deja Vu has nothing to do with being cursed. Thoughts coming true is such a vague statement, but again may have more to do with mild precognitive experiences than being cursed.

Our own Weatherwax wrote an excellent article on ways to determine whether you have been spelled by someone. You might want to give it a read at

But if you truly feel that you are cursed, then I would suggest first doing a good cleansing on yourself. You can do this by pouring a couple of tablespoons of salt into your bath water and then washing yourself down with it. When you pull the plug and let the water go down the drain, visualize the curse leaving with the dirty water.

Then I would suggest learning how to shield yourself properly so that this will not happen to you again. You can read about creating a personal shield in my thread at
