Am a normal girl but whenever i read about magic, i feel the urge to have powers. I dont know if someone not born with magic can acquire magic. And also, is magic evil?
How can i acquire magical powers.
Well, it's not evil for starters. There is a divide between black magic, and white magic, but it is rarely called 'evil'
And magic is really just your own energy, and energy from the elements around you, energy that you use to change your own life for better or worse.
You already have some kind of magic, you just need to learn to manipulate it to your desires.
Most people who label magick as evil either do so because of religious views or because they believe stereotypes such as everyone who practices magick worships some evil being like being a devil worshiper. I mean no offense to any satanists on here as there are some who do not consider the devil evil and I am just using this as a typical example of how many view magick practioners, witches, etc... Magick is neither good nor evil rather it is a tool. A comparison would be comparing it to say a knife. You can either use a knife to cut food, carve things, etc...or you can use it to hurt someone. Everything in life including magick boils down to intent when it comes to good and evil as there are some spells labeled dark that could be used for good and some that might be considered good by many that could be used for evil. Magick really doesn't have a color as the true question is whether or not the caster is good or evil.
Now as for being born with powers or not that isn't really an issue. There are some people who seem to be more of a natural at learning, some who come from a family with a history of practicing magick, etc..yet the majority of people who practice magick are people like yourself who were drawn to it for some reason or another. Now this is going to be a letdown and some may disagree yet the source that likely made you interested in learning magick is not comparible to real magick. Powers as you call them are not typical and the powers that exist are not flashy like the ones from books. In the end you won't be acquiring what you refer to as magick powers. There are gifts that some possess but they tend to be mental or spiritual in nature such as some can perceive spirits, others can sense emotions, some can get glimpses of the future, etc... I have heard some say that you can learn/unlock these abilities but most are born with them. These abilties sound amazing on the surface but if you ask those who have them you will quickly learn that it is a burden on them at times. I do not want to discourage you but I don't want you to start down a path only inspired by the descriptions in a book when it may lead you to disappointment. There are many amazing people on this site and I am sure with time you will discover what is right for you.
