So yeah, it's been a while since I've been on here but I'm going to make this short. I'm an electric witch (stuff I do is listed on my profile). Anyways, despite being a really bad cook, I still want to involve it in my practice. Any tips, recipes, advice, etc?

Take precautions when cooking. Do not accidentally cut yourself open with a knife. Dull knives can slip onto your finger. Do not accidentally burn yourself or set things on fire.

Prevent food diseases, such as salmonella. You do not want to overcook the food, but you do not want to undercook the food, neither. From food that is the most safest from food diseases to food that has the highest risk of food diseases, are grains, breads, fruits and vegetables; seafood; meat; eggs, chicken and hamburger. Thoroughly wash all utensils, plates, cups, trays and other kitchen items with soap and water. Do not use a filthy cloth or filthy towel. Put only dishwasher-safe items into the dishwasher.

You can put metal or ceramic into the oven, microwave or other heating device, but do not put an item made of wood or plastic into the heating device.

Cook at the right temperature; not too hot nor too cold.

Different foods require different cooking times and different cooking temperatures. Make certain that the heated food is hot all over and not cold in the center or cold on the inside.

Low-skill cooks just go by the cooking time, but high-skill cooks taste test the food every three minutes to tell if whether or not the food is ready.

Remember to mix and stir.

Different recipes have different ingredients and techniques. Only use ingredients that are safe to eat and not rancid. Take measures to prevent carbon monoxide.

I can give you limitless food recipes. Here is the link to the recipe for pork dumplings:
