Protect from demons?

In the astral plane, I heard they’re evil entities that can try to possess and I’m trying to figure how to avoid astral demons. Is there a way that an evil spirit won’t be able to take control over my body?

Actual possession is incredibly rare if not a myth. Usually having your body inhabited in any way, requires mutual consent.

I think in this case, you may simply use this name as a mantra- Aleph Lamed Daled. It is one of the names of God in Jewish culture and is used for protection. It is simple, but very highly effective.

Other more simple way I see it.

Just don't be afraid of such evil or demonic beings, because a person's fear is their greatest way towards the person.

You may keep this in mind, along do the mantra as well.

Demons are not inherently bad. No spirit is inherently "evil" nor out to get you. Any spirit can manipulate, abuse, or trick a person. As stated before, true possessions are very rare and almost never even heard of. You do not need to avoid demons, I have worked with a lot of friendly demonic spirits, as well as some troublemakers, they are not out to get you, nor will they attempt to enter your body.

Energy shielding, warding, and protection is a must before, during, and after any sort of spiritual interaction.

What you have heard about demons only being bad is fear mongering. Not the truth.

In some traditions and paths, including my personal practices, possession is not seen as a bad thing, and can even be desired by one who is working closely with a particular spirit.

I have had no issues with such a thing happening to me, when I was working with one of the Daemons of my Mythology.
