I have heard "Ask and ye shall recieve" which of course is also the basis of magic theb why I don't get every single thing I wish for?

Not all workings are successful, there are lots of reasons for this the main ones being:

• It isn't the right time for your goal to be achieved.
• You're asking for the impossible or something that isn't possible in your current situation.
• You are not working mundane methods of achieving your wish, relying only on magick.
• You are not leaving enough time to gain a magickal response.
• What you want and what you need may be two different things, you may want something that isn't right at the moment so you don't reveive it.

There are more, but these are often the main five reasons why.
