So I'm looking to further the cause of human development by demonstrating that magic exists for the James Randi Foundation. If I was able to do it there is a million-dollar prize that I want to donate to charity.
What spells would you suggest that can be falsified in a testable way?
Dont you think that if someone had a visible, demonstrative spell to give you, this prize would have already been taken?
Magickal results arent instant, they can take weeks, months, sometimes even years to manifest. And when they do manifest they are often subtle and work alongside your mundane activity.
Unfortunately Magick in the real world doesnt include a puff of green smoke or a physical change, instead they are often unnoticed by those around and are only push in the desired direction for the one the working was desired for.
Visibility is not the only actual Butte that wouldn't be required to demonstrate that something was the cause of something else. We just need to spell who's effect can be measured and is repeatable
Magick is not a baking recipe with a list of ingredients that results in the same consistent product. There are many factors that go into producing a spell and as was said before, the results can be subtle and is subjected to the whims and fancy of the universe. Can Christians prove that Christianity is the real religion by saying a prayer and having that prayer be answered? What about a Hindu? Can they do that? It's the same concept with magick which as far as I am concerned is part of one's spirituality and the result of one's connection with nature and the entities within.
As a matter of fact, I think I have something in mind for you and I'm happy to give it to you for absolutely free, because the lord and lady gave us their information for free so it is only fair. Now, myu method is via sigilization and symbols, I am a strong believer that magic is everywhere and just waiting to be tapped into, however, the problem that arises is how to do so, and my way is to include in each spell I cast at least 5 seperate yet identifiable personal signs that I expect to come to me in a determined timeline, with the intention of if the spell does come to pass, these signs are my way of seeing that it is indeed my spell that caused them, I have developed them in a way connected to energy signatures, and the best thing is I cycle through quite a few different ones that way it's different and I know it's true, for example, one of my friend's watches the tv show Walker Texas Ranger and one of the signs I encorporate into my spells is something like this "The character Trent will make an appearance in the next 3 shows," and another sign I use involves crows and it's like this "In the next three days I will see "X" number of crows," I also incorporate my video games into signs, for example, "In the next 3 in game days, I will come across the nametag item," or something like that, the idea is that I write the list down with the decided timelines and I wait the longest time and each time a sign appears I check it off, and at the end of the timeframe I look at the list and the number of the items checked off determines how much of what happened involved my spell or magical working, now what you can do is come up with a list of events and timelines and present the list to this panel of people and perform your spell and at the end of the time line regather with them and report everyones' findings and it should work, does this all make sense?
