Any clue?

I have an interesting experience with my mother's friend, she claims to have learned white magic from a shaman and was in training.
I was sick at the time when my mother decided to hang out with her and brought me along. She noticed I was sick, and gave me water, asked me to drink it and started raising her hand to my back. She then asked me to pray, I am Catholic so I prayed catholic prayers, while my mother stares in confusion. My body started feeling hot whenever I prayed and cool down when I stopped.

She then gave me more bottles of water to take home and warned not to drink alot at once... I mistakenly drank it the next day and my body felt like it was burning, then my mother threw all of it out because of it. I wasn't sick anymore though.

any clue as to what it was that I drank? (it tasted like normal water) .. or what she was doing?

i made an account on som when i was in an edgy phase, but came back just to ask this as I couldn't find a scientific explanation for this experience.

Unfortunately, there is not really a good way to know for certain, without asking the person who gave you the 'water.'

Since there is such a large range of beliefs and practices in witchcraft, it could have been anything from charged or blessed water, to some substance in solution, to a holistic 'remedy.' Unless there is some other additional information, there is not really a lot that could help people home in on a possible answer.

So, did the water have a different taste, which might suggest is contained something like salt, herbs, roses or other floral tastes or flavors?

No, not at all. It was amazingly still sealed, just a normal plastic bottle that you can buy in stores. Tastes normal, no smell, although when you sip a bit of it it feels like your back is facing a warm fireplace. however, if you down it, it feels like you're in an oven... unfortunately, we've lost contact with her altogether as this was years back.
