Spells

I want to learn magic so I can protect my friends. Does anyone know any spells I can use? Preferably on the spot kind of spells.

You might want to learn how to cast first. No spell will work if you don't know how to cast. Well, that's not totally true, you might get a hit every now and again, though even a broken clock is right twice a day.
