People have told me and others on this path (Includes scientific paganism, witch, next step, etc.) That it is false, or completely against each other. It was irritating for a newer practitioner to hear that back and fourth constantly while looking for a path. So what is it exactly? What are the basics to the path?
Basic beliefs:
Death magic, love magic, fluffy cloud magic, and curses/hexes do not exist in the path.
Magic cannot hurt/kill the caster, unless the caster themself is physically or mentally harming themselves.
Believing in chakras, energy points, and auras but in a more realistic way. (will explain)
that science is the backbone of the universe, but not directly worshipping it.
Does not cast spells often, as we use more subconscious reasoning/adjusting to get our desires met.
As for some paths, this specific one has that "calling" feeling to it. Usually at a young age is when you will feel a higher connection to science, thus the call to this path is usually already there.
A majority of practitioners in this path do not like the strict idea of spirituality, witch craft, or magic in general. However, they are not strict on the idea of atheism either. Its not just a middle ground either.

I am not sure what exactly you are talking about or referring to with this post. The label Scientific Spiritual Path are three general words put together that describe a lot of preexisting practitioners of this site and our world. I myself am extremely scientific on my path and in my life, as well a spiritual being; as everyone of us is a spiritual being having a human experience. The basic beliefs of your path's description excludes areas that I would include and and is a bit conflicting when it lays down strict beliefs about what types of magic can be practiced or believed in, while then stating the majority of it's practitioners do not like strict ideas of spirituality. the craft, or magic in general.
Be cautious of those that spout conflicting statements in their doctrine. Be cautiousof those that try to use common words that encompass more then they specifically mean to dictate
Believing in chakras, energy points, and auras but in a more realistic way.
(will explain)
I was hoping that you would have explained this before your post ended.
You had not.
Could we get an explanation of what you mean by this please?
I had interest in reading your explanation.
As for the rest of what you highlight, there is a sentence which states that practitioners do not hold strictly to the idea of witchcraft, magic etc. Then it goes on in another sentence to state practitioners are not strict on atheism either. Then continues to say it is not a middle ground either.
I'm not understanding the descriptions at all. Im on the feild of science spirituality and this dosent really explain it.
Scientific spiritual people believe that spells are not done or completed by a magic force. Instead, they believe the chants or spell casting will slip into the subconcious and make you accomplish what you need to do. We do not believe in chakras. We have a very limited belief to energies. There is no scientific paganism, as we dont work with historically established deities in any sense as We see science as a deity in itself like people who believe the universe is a god in itself. We believe in an afterlife, but it's never been a big topic in the actual study.
The wrongs in energies and chakras are believed to just be self doubt or mental illness. We do believe in spirits but not to an extent that they are harmful to human beings in any way. We use more logical methods to help our problems in life. We cast very little unless the intuition calls for it. As a subliminal maker, I have used those to solve a certain quarrel or at least help it.
I don't wish to sound disrespectful or rude but, please try to unclutter your article and please post more clear information. Trying to help. :)
