The Path you take

Hello, I'm starting this thread to offer some insight on myself and hopefully on others as well. My personal path is deeply rooted in working with nature and the natural energies of the earth. While I don't follow a traditional path, I do, however, use some Shamanistic workings.

My belief system may seem odd to some people but, I believe, everything and everyone is connected to the other. No energy is a free floating mass. However, no single energy is the same. Within my personal path, I give offerings and thanks to the earth. I have been known as well to partake in rituals that are done deep within the forest.

I myself, find comfort being surrounded by nature and the sheer rawness of it. To me, nature has always been and will always be my main guiding force in magic.

Please feel free to share your own belief's and path.

I pratice the doctrine Thelema, where love and doing what you please is the law. The official book of my doctrine isn't meant to be studied and must be burnt after the first read. It's called "The Book of the Law", by Aleister Crowley. I somehow, have adopted ceremonial magic from the Golden Dawn into my magic work. One of the rules of Thelema is that you have a second doctrine/religion of your choice, and I choose The Order of the Golden Dawn.

My belief system is based on deities derived from christianity, but, I condemn all type of christianity in my life. I've never been baptized, and, I don't want to. I did recently however an offering in a candle circle to archangel Michael for protection, guidance and prosperity. Has been a success so far, I don't mind working with angels and archangels. However, traditional christianity? Nope.

I believe I am my own God, responsible for my actions, thoughts and words. I like nature aswell, ever since I was new. I live in a rural area where witchcraft is very present.

My path has changed quite a bit over 24 years.

I began with a combination of shamanic practice and traditional witchcraft at the age of 14.

After discovering more books that were Wiccan based there was a period where I practiced eclectic Wicca solitary back in 2018.

For a short period after I practiced Hedge and sea witchcraft.

Nature has always been an integral part of my path, though I do not practice often out of doors, though I do at times. I bring natural items within my home and work there. I work with stones and plants a lot.

There was a while recently I was deity heavy but lately I have felt more of a connection to my mother's heritage.

Currently I practice a form of witchcraft based on heritage of my mother's family. Hereditary Catholic- Roma Traditional Witchcraft.

It isn't as deity heavy as Celtic Paganism, Celtic being my father's heritage.
