Anglo saxon runes

So I've recently bought an anglo saxon rune set which has a few extra runes from the Elder futhark rune set, can someone help me with the merkstave meanings of Yr, Ior, Ear, Calc, Gungnir, Cweorth and Stan please? I've looked everywhere and there's no websites that include the Merkstave meanings of these runes :(

The runes you list seem to be a combination of the Anglo-Saxon Runes and the Northumbrian Runes. Here's two links that should help you:

The rune you list as "Gungir" is actually the rune "Gar" in the Northumbrian Runes.

Ahh thank you! These are actually the websites I used to find the meaning of these! Is there no alternative/switched meaning of these runes? Merkstave I think they call it :)

It is unclear whether a reversed meaning was used with these systems. But if you read the positive meanings of the rune stave and then consider what the opposite might be you won't go far wrong.

Yeah you're not wrong :) I did do that for some of them because I can barely find anything about them at all! Weird coincidence that we both used the sane websites huh

The more learned authorities say there is no textual evidence that the runes were ever read as "reversed" or not.Personally, in my incomplete reading, I have run across no hint of this either.

On the other hand, one might try casts using the notion of reversal or dispensing with it and see which method seems to offer the better insights. Being guided by tradition does not mean being controlled by it.Living creeds introduce innovations as they suggest---and prove---themselves.
