Has anyone done this abundance spell? I found it on an online site
Items needed:
Green candle
Cinnamon oil
Vanilla oil or vanilla abstract
Candle holder
Large denomination coin (quarter)
Casting instructions
Use something sharp to write wealth on the side of the candle and anoint it with the cinnamon and vanilla oils. Put the coil in the bottom of the candle holder. Set the candle over top of the coin. Light the candle and let it burn down completely. Leave the wax covered coin in a safe place to bring you money. Has anyone cast a spell like this or similar and had success?
The thing with spells that use items is that you don't need the items to cast the spell. Because if you have a witch they can cast a spell just pure energy work, or they could cast a spell using items which would act as a ritualistic action, also called Sympathetic Magick. I'll explain both kinds of Sympathetic magick even though in this case only the law of similarity is being used in this spell.
The law of similarity states that things that resemble each other can affect each other magically. For example, a spell that uses a poppet to represent a person is based on the principle of similarity, as the doll is a symbolic representation of the person and can be manipulated to influence them provided spell work is performed to link the two together.
The other kind of Sympathetic Magick is called The law of contagion. The law of contagion states that things that have been in contact with each other can affect each other magically. For example, a spell that uses a lock of hair from the head or a meaningful personal item belonging to a person is based on the principle of contagion, as the item possesses the same energy as the person therefore can be used to influence them magically like a mirrored image. In other words because the piece of hair, fingernail. tears, etc is from the person, it has the same energy of them because it's their "part" this "part" is linked to them all ready because it was a part of them, this item can be used as a taglock to perform spell work and ritual remotely , ie: without them in the room with you.
Now back to the items you've listed. This items "work" in the sense that they provide a vessel to put the energy into that the witch/spellcaster/whatever the magical worker wants to call themselves , but just having these items will not guarantee a successful spell as the power comes from the witch not the items. The items are there to either add extra power, such as the green candle's flame. Fire means transformation, the wax itself has the power of the earth in it because when wax hardens it stores a copy of this planet's magnetic field. This is how science knows that this planet has a magnetic field, so when you burn a candle that energy is released into the space allowing you to draw on that power to add to your spell, the fact the candle is green is meant to help you focus on money and stuff like that, since it's a abundance spell. The Various oils come from plants and such that have the energy of money/prosperity in some form, the coin itself appears to be a way to seal the spell. Since it sounds like you would be charging the candle then releasing all that power into the coin where you would then store the coin somewhere in your home so the spell can bring the money there. Of course eventually the spell would need to be recharged but you'd be able to tell by checking the energy of the coin.
In my opinion the spell needs more correspondences towards the Sun and Jupiter to get the right frequency needed to draw Abundance to you. Probably have to keep doing the spell on Sundays and Thursdays with the right moon phases until you build enough energy to reach out to the Aether.
