Textile arts and spiders

Hi all, I've been off the enlightened path for a good 5 years now, but recent events sparked a rekindling passion for this high art form.

I've, not entirely, devoted myself to textile arts, I do have a full time job that's not art related but its very clear that textiles is my calling card. (we do what we can to survive in this world ) In the past few days there seem to be an abundance of spiders and webs in my small green garden, and I did find a molt of a large spider that I have yet to encounter.. I might be casting a line of the thinnest skein of coincidence, but could this be a sign from Arachne?

I'll be honest, I'm not the most keen on arachnids (or most bugs) but I never intentionally kill anything, especially spiders as they're natural pest controls. But I do get squeamish if they approach me suddenly. Hence my doubt about the link with Arachne.

I wonder if there are any incantations or offerings I can do to please her and maybe become a devotee to her story, and have her guidance as I work.
