Baal could actuall refer to several deities, entities or demons. Baal of Carthage for one, and Hadad being another. Often referenced as the god of fertility, Baal actually means "lord" or "master". One of such deities,Prince Baal, referred to often as the green man, is revered along with his counterpart, Astarte, by Hermetic scientists. I'm not sure if it's just a different translation of the name but another counterpart for the god Baal, is the goddes Ishtar, which ironically is where the name from whence the christian holiday, easter, was derived.

Now then, are you talking a curse or hex on yourself, placed by another, or one placed on another, by yourself?

Lol. You were right, Samael. It's actually strange how many gods, devils, and even humans, Baal references. So you were right as what you said is true, among other devils, Satanael is one.
