Elements

Nobody can control the elements. One can only simply work with them or maniuplate them .

And yes , a person can work with more than one element . But because your element depends on your astrological sign , you can only have one that you are most connected to ..maybe two if you are a cusp .

Your element does not depend on your astrological sign because all people have all signs and your planets and calculated points will be in several of them.
People also do not "have an element.". You may be gifted with a particular element, but as different elements do different things it would be foolish to try and specialize in one (or two, as the case may be).

You mind explaining this to me ChirionJackel ? This is not a topic i really studied as it did not have my interest so can you explain it to me ? I do not really understand..

What people think of as "your sign" is just your sun sign; you also have a moon sign, a mercury sign, a Venus sign, etc.. Your natal astrology is a snapshot of where everything in the astrological sky is, not just your sun. For example, I'm sun and Venus Aries, Luna Virgo, Mercuy and Jupiter Pisces, etc. The signs themselves, even those you don't have a planet it, still affect you and this can be seen most readily in the Rising sign and the Midheaven.

Well , I have never studied astrology. Never once looked into it even briefly. I honestly didn't know there are so many of such signs.

I disagry with xlightydarkx,you can have two elements that you relate to most,usaly it's air and earth or fire and water,everyone has a sun sign and a moon sign.

You "have" all the elements dear, how many You can "control" is debatable
Manipulation of elemental energies is however very possible indeed , the only question is in which manner and to what extent.
For we can see exaples of exercises for in works of occult authorities such as Crowley, Bardon, Regardie and probably others as well :)
