Whatever, I guess. Just don't touch the sides when your pullin stuff out or you'll get electrocuted and it will buzz loud!
Somehow I prefer all the way painless.

When you first start meditating you should only do it in five to ten minute bursts - anything else and you will lose concentration and get bored. I thinkt that the type of meditation that Kao is talking about is more for those who have been doing it for a while or are good at it and it really works wondrfully but for those who are just starting out i would reccomend short burst no longer than five minutes.

Rowan makes a very good point, start off at 5 minute intervals and work your way up, nice one ;)

I never thought meditiation could be happening while actually having a thought...if that makes sense.

I have done Tai Chi, but was being graded on it so my thoughts usually revolved around " please don't fail me ". My theater teacher did teach us many techniques to relaxing the body and the mind. Although, seeing as it was in school and I didn't want to be there, I never looked at it as anything but a waste of my time. :/ Perhaps I'll try to recall those techniques and see if I can get my mind to stop flip flopping between real events and the ones I make up in my head.

Oh, and Hynea, I do know what you mean about the driving.
I have many times looked aruond and couldn't for the life of me figure out what happened to the last 30 blocks I was SUPPOSED to be paying attention to.
