As LadyTessa said...no one here said that gods/goddess' don't exsist. Infact, many people believe they do and worship different ones on a regular basis.

The one you speak of ( if you did indeed get it from the movie, which I suspect you did ) is pretend. Someone got paid a lot of money to think them up too.

I suggest doing a little research if you wish to worship/learn from a deity.

there are gods and goddesses depending on which religion your looking at. and depending on which path you choose then that would tell you which god, goddess of both you are trying to "invoke" and such

youve watched to much of "the Craft" there no such thing as invloking THE spirit but A spirit

Mana is a force/substance that many around the world believe in, it is a belief that all things are made from this and that it is the main ingredient of all souls.

As I watched The Craft when it came out in my late teens I found it interesting that the writers came up with the name Manal for the "god" in their movie. I found it to be a creative twist on a already exciting concept. Part of which I gave credit to the "Magic the Gathering" card game that was also popular at the time. It also uses the concept of mana in it's play.

ya...batsweet im completely clueless with what you said? how do you purchase a question? and from a botanical store? also your wrong in the fact that you said through meditation you can speak to spirits freely if your willing to listen, meditation is helpful but you can do it just by sitting down and listening. You dont need to buy anything.

Also i did some research and i found there is a ritual to invoke A spirit but its a little complex, and i dont think its too authentic, but it may be worth a shot. I found it in a friend's book of shadows. All in all its not worth trying.

I agree with Healer about the Craft movie... But it's still good Hollywood prodution. Albeit a bad portayal of what magic really is. Anyways try meditaing. Takes alot of practice, stick with it and you'll see the benefits.
